'07 Nissan Sentra

The 2007 Nissan Sentra is a larger edition of the previous Sentra models. The combination of increased size and fuel economy provides a powerful one two punch on the market.

Many people don’t like the trade off that is needed in terms of interior roominess for increased mileage, and so having a vehicle that runs on a very efficient 4 cyl engine and yet is larger than its predecessors makes the Sentra a very good entry for Nissan into this market segment.

The 2007 Sentra also comes available with either a manual transmission or with the ever more popular CVT transmission. At 135 horsepower the 2007 Nissan Sentra still puts out enough power to move the car nicely as well.

The larger interior also allows for Nissan to include more features and functionality to the interior of the car which is something that is very important to many consumers.

BUT WHERE DO THE BOOKS GO?

Nissan billed its 2007 Nissan Sentra as a "mobile backpack" -- and judging from the design, they're not far off. For a car it can hold about anything, including a twin bed, which is what you get when you fold the rear seats back. Bring a blanket and a flashlight, and you're all set.
For those who'd rather drive than sleep, there's a sharp new instrument panel and a bunch of upgrades that make the 2007 Nissan Sentra a car worth a second look. We recommend photos, reviews, pricing, specs and a bunch of other automotive intel. If you're sold after that, we've got some nice financing info on offer too.

2007 Nissan Sentra

The 2007 Nissan Sentra appears equipped for the automobile market with its series of updates over earlier versions. The powertrain has been improved with an expanded wheelbase for better handling, along with increased fuselage capacity for additional space to accommodate passengers and baggage. Like its other versions, this sedan promises success.

The 2007 Nissan Sentra employs an I4 engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters. The horsepower has received a significant increase from the earlier 126 hp to the present 140 hp, and the corresponding torque is 147 lb-ft, an increase of around 18 lb-ft. The fuel economy is probably the biggest improvement of all. The highway mileage is a whopping 36 mpg, and the mileage on urban roads is 29mpg.

The fascia has also been updated in the 2007 Nissan Sentra. Added safety features include a tire-pressure monitor and dual airbags for the front seats. An audio entertainment system with MP3 and WMA support is also included.
